DESIGN STATEMENT
“I think that art has the ability to capture people’s imaginations and make them think that more is possible.” - Shepard Fairey.
I agree with the famous American Artist, Shepard Fairey, that one of the challenges that we often face as designers is how to improve our work. If we use our imagination more and push the boundaries of design, anything can be possible. In my line of work, I pay special attention to typography, illustration, and photography to add more visual impact to all of my work.
I believe that in order to create functional and meaningful designs, one has to start with research, brainstorm ideas, and sketch to develop their concepts. By following all of these important steps of the design process we can develop stronger messaging with our target audience in mind. As a designer, I do my best to keep up to date on software and new technologies. Lastly, It's through design, we express our feelings, thoughts, and imagination.
